In this event, you will have an opportunity to experience a taste of what a typical Abilitie Business Challenge simulation entails, grow your financial fluency and business acumen, and network with other professionals looking to grow their skills.
Business Challenge Overview: In this simulation, participants battle for market share in a dynamic marketplace. Teams compete to best position their companies and deeply understand the drivers of value creation: growth, profitability, and risk.
Learning Objectives*:
- Connect day-to-day decisions to key value drivers: growth, profitability, and risk
- Learn how to effectively drive business growth using financial data and metrics
- Gain conversancy in the financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
- Analyze projects through the lens of finances and value creation (IRR, NPV, breakeven analysis)
Attendees will be asked to reserve their schedules for the entire play session if possible — you don’t want to abandon your teammates to compete for market dominance without you.
Time will be reserved at the end of the session for Q&A regarding Abilitie’s other simulations and how the competitive development experiences fit into broader programs (including the open enrollment offering, the 12-week MBA).
