Tax Specialist (Part-Time)

About the Role
e’re seeking a talented tax specialist to work in tandem with our accounting department. In this role, the Tax Specialist is mainly focused on tax compliance work, such as filing sales tax reports, providing income tax numbers to our CPA for federal and state income tax tilings, and other tax related items, such as determining state nexus and setting up tax accounts in new jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who enjoys researching and solving tax-related issues. We’re looking for an individual open to light to medium hybrid work, that includes routine visits to our downtown Austin shared workspace to sort and review mailed requests.
What You Will Do
- Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with state local statutes and regulations
- Collect tax information and process according to various state laws.
- Conduct state and local tax filings.
- Research state sales and income tax compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes,
- Confirm the accuracy of records and documents related to tax reporting and preparation
- Maintain written and oral communications between the company and all relevant vendors and regulatory agencies
- Assess and process routine state and local tax requests in a timely manner
- Remain current with changes in the tax code and accounting laws
- Handle minor amount of accounts receivable check processing

- A track record as a tax specialist or accountant, especially with exposure to state and local sales tax (preferred)
- Knowledge of accounting methods, tax laws, and audits

Client Experience Director

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Client Experience Director to own the customer experience of Abilitie’s flagship learning experiences that are delivered to Fortune 500 clients around the world. The Client Experience Director must think strategically about driving customer growth and engagement while minimizing customer churn; this includes a healthy balance of program design and sales. The role will report to the COO and will require excellent client communication, consultative selling, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Candidates with relevant experience only, please.

What You Will Do
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, guide clients through the design and delivery of our experiences, and develop new business from existing clients.
- Own the cultivation and growth of long-term relationships with clients to drive client retention and grow Abilitie’s business within each client account. Must be able to show previous success in an account management or sales capacity.
- Manage complex global leadership development programs; interface with clients, speakers, facilitators, internal staff, and external partners.
- Provide thought leadership around creating effective leadership programs and work with client learning objectives to design enriching programs using our award-winning simulations.
- As part of our small team, perform diverse support for our leadership programs that will include logistics coordination, event planning, travel arrangements, and conducting team briefings.

- Work on special projects, events, and assist with marketing and research activities as required.

Program Facilitator (Contract)

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for engaging, energetic, and skilled contract facilitators to lead 1-4 day simulation-based business training programs through virtual collaboration. Facilitators are asked to teach concrete principles of management, leadership, and business acumen using one of our team-based business simulations. Facilitators are trained on the program content by our staff and are asked to become familiar with leadership and/or business acumen course content in areas such as business strategy, team and group leadership, financial statements and ratio analysis, basic return on investment analysis, and/or similar leadership and financial business acumen topics.
Most programs are currently delivered virtually although there may be opportunities for in-person facilitation in the future. While we are unable to guarantee the number of programs/hours worked as it depends on our clients’ varying needs, we aim to accommodate individual preferences for assignment frequency.
Abilitie onboards facilitators in quarterly cohorts. This position is offered on a contract basis – it is not full-time, nor benefits eligible.
What You Will Do
- Lead 1-4 day training workshops for participants on leadership and business acumen topics with authority and confidence
- Administer Abilitie’s computer-based business simulations and debrief results with the class both onsite and remotely
- Travel to on-site locations around the US and world depending on availability and travel preferences (typically clients cover all travel expenses and offer additional compensation for international travel)
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree/MBA strongly preferred
- Teaching and/or training experience. You must have both a desire to teach and a demonstrated aptitude in teaching leadership and/or financial concepts
- Prior managerial experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication ability and aptitude in managing a classroom or online learning space designed for up to 40 participants
- High comfort level with dynamic, case-study based lecture and discussion format
- Experience with virtual deliveries is required and high participant engagement is a must

Virtual Producer (Contract)

About the Role
Our most successful virtual producers are not only tech savvy, but also calm under pressure, kind and patient with participants’ diverse technical acumen, and quick to problem solve when something unexpected happens in a session. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Our producers work as independent contractors: the role is remote and the hours can vary from week to week depending on the needs of the company and our clients. First and foremost, the producer will support and assist the facilitator in simulation-based business training programs. Programs vary in length from 2-6 hours per day. While we are unable to guarantee a set number of programs/ hours worked, we have ample assignments available. This position is not full-time, nor benefit eligible.
What You Will Do
- Willingness to follow direction but also be proactive and self sufficient.
- Be flexible and available for deliveries in different time zones. Be considerate of international partners’ needs.
- Provide technical coordination and support 30-45 minutes before and during the entire scheduled virtual session.
- Assist the facilitator in managing the administrative aspects of the meeting. The producer can be designated as the Host, Alternative Host, or Co-Host. The producer will take attendance, be able to provide logistical instructions at the beginning of each session, letting participants know what to do if they have questions, how/when to use the chat, how polling and breakout rooms will work, and what to do if they get disconnected.
- Manage interactive tools such as whiteboards, breakout rooms, and polls, answer learner questions, create and distribute links, troubleshoot issues, manage chat, advance slides, launch surveys, and support facilitators with activities and instructions.
- Provide technology support during the session – demonstrating and teaching platform features to ensure participants know how to use their tools and by providing in-the-moment troubleshooting assistance to keep sessions running smoothly with fewer interruptions.

About the Role
The VP Marketing is a critical leader who will play a vital role in positioning our brand growth for the future. You will lead a team of strategic marketers in disrupting how we go to market and inspire best in class creative work to exceed our hyper growth goals.
As the senior leader of the marketing team, you will redefine Abilitie’s B2B and B2C marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition. You will collaborate with Sales, fellow members of the Leadership Team and across the organization to facilitate brand messaging that impacts progress through increased engagement, conversion and retention.
This role requires a true mix of strategic and innovative thinking, roll-up your sleeves mentality and thought leadership to develop our multi-channel funnel campaigns and shape our media mix in an ever-evolving landscape. You will attract and inspire key marketing talent to work alongside you synthesizing data points that provide meaningful insights and actionable takeaways to lead the next iteration of forward-thinking campaigns that capture new audiences and reinvigorate our existing community members.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute comprehensive B2B/B2C marketing strategy for Abilitie’s products and services, including content development, target segmenting, channel mix, conversions and optimization
- Own and optimize marketing spend/ROI to rigorously evaluate and reevaluate the impact of the marketing programs in achieving their objectives, including the impact on lead generation, adoption and retention.
- Attract, mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team where members work aggressively to grow our business via B2B and B2C marketing campaigns.
- Craft compelling content that clearly articulates our B2B & B2C product value and embodies Abilitie’s voice, ensuring consistency across all channels including but not limited to conferences and events, landing pages, blogs, emails, white papers, etc.

About the Role
As Head of Growth Partnerships, you will support collaboration opportunities between Invited MBA and partner organizations that will accelerate our growth and fast-track our enrollment objectives. This role will help to define and execute our aggressive growth strategy through collaboration, affiliate relationships, geographic targeting, and employer partnership opportunities.
You will be an out-of-the-box, business-minded strategic thinker who brings a strong commitment to the company’s consumer enrollment expansion priorities while being analytical and intellectually curious. You love new ideas and know how to create opportunities. In this role, you will identify, initiate, support, and grow strategic partnerships alongside the VP of Marketing.
What You Will Do
- Research and identify potential strategic enrollment partners, including but not limited to employers, affiliate groups, industry and regional business associations, and universities.
- Develop long-term enrollment relationships with strategic partners. Manage fulfillment and drive renewal and continued growth of partners.
- Continually engage existing strategic partners to ensure the success of current projects, as well as develop pathways to new areas of growth.
- Generate and support definitive agreements for new collaborations, coordinating with legal and business development teams where necessary.
- Represent Invited MBA to external partners at events and conferences, and develop tailored material for collaboration presentations, including company and program overviews, and opportunities for strategic alignment

- Experience in managing partnerships from initiation through execution and renewal
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication skills, and focused on building relationships with team members
- Strong ability to communicate with external parties and influence decision-making processes through relationship building
