Matthew Confer, VP of Strategy
Matthew’s passion for leadership development was sparked early in his career while overseeing the roll-out of a leadership program for new hires at Deloitte Consulting. Now VP of Strategy & Business Development at Abilitie, Matthew is keenly focused on Abilitie’s global client base which spans more than 40 members of the Fortune 500. Through Abilitie’s leadership programs, Matthew has seen first-hand the power of the team-based experiential learning environment.
When he’s not exploring the hidden gems of Austin’s vibrant restaurant scene, Matthew deep dives into leadership development, professional development, and effective organizational leadership on his podcast, Learn To Lead. In addition to holding an MBA from Boston University, Matthew also earned a BS in Economics from Wheaton College.
Bjorn Billhardt, CEO & Founder
An organizational and leadership development expert, Bjorn Billhardt has designed leadership development programs and collaborated with world-class institutions for two decades. Since 2015, Bjorn has been CEO of Abilitie, a provider of leadership development and mini-MBA programs. Abilitie’s programs have educated over 100,000 learners worldwide.
Prior to founding Abilitie, Bjorn was Co-founder and CEO of Enspire Learning, Inc. Previously he was a consultant with BAAN and McKinsey & Company. Bjorn holds a BA from the University of Texas and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bjorn serves on the Board of Directors for both The Magellan International School and milk + honey spa. He is an Advisory Board Member to the University of Texas at Austin School for Undergraduate Studies and HDO Program. A native of Hamburg, Germany, Bjorn recently completed his first solo flight in pursuit of his pilot’s license.
